Nursing facility caring for residents with brain injuries is closing.
On February 12, Delta Rehab, Washington’s only nursing facility caring for residents with post-traumatic brain injuries announced they will be closing, displacing over 100 people with brain injuries. The reason for closure? Nursing Home Medicaid rates that fail to cover the cost of care and services. The Legislature is working to address the problem. Please remind your legislators that this is a priority—ultimately all Washingtonians will be touched by the need for long term care and services.
